"No supported SIMD instruction sets detected"

I imagine this has to do with what kind of processor/kernel combination
you're running. I've got an Intel P4 from about two years ago and I get
'SSE2 Instructions found'. I imagine its probably not a big deal in terms of
performance, but you never know.

Well, thanks to Hitmuri's advice earlier on, I managed to get everything
started and running okay. I was unable to get Seq24 as my time control
master, so used Ardour instead.
Anyone know of a lightweight master that will control the tempo and jack?
Maybe I'll ask the qjackctl folks if they want to include this as a feature.

I was still unable to do anything usable with tranches or tapeutape, but I
didn't venture into the XML file.

As an aside, anyone know how one would use a beat slicer and sampler in a
live rig? Some people just make it look so easy, but I can't get my head
around how to do it at speed and keeping time.

Anyone know of any other cool tools in a live looping setup? I am working
with a Win32 guy who has Ableton, so I know I can midi-sync that. I'd just
rather convert him to linux..

Cheers all
Niko
