[PlanetCCRMA] Can get jackd to run

This, and the messages you posted earlier, suggest that the card is not
getting interrupts (or the system is not servicing them). Jack waits for
5 seconds and then the watchdog process in it kills the server (assuming
that the server is hung, which it is). 

Depending on the motherboard it could be faulty bios that is not routing
interrupts correctly. 

You could try (just in case) starting the kernel with the "noacpi"
option, when you get the prompt to start select the kernel you want,
press "e" to edit the comand line, select the kernel command line, press
"e" again, go to the end, erase the "rhgb quiet" at the end and replace
it with "noacpi" (without the quotes). Then boot into that kernel.
