[PlanetCCRMA] Newbie needs help - Jack

Ok...I'm new to DAW on Linux. I've used Windows and Mac but I'm building 
my own and it's the first I've worked with on Linux.

Here's my setup:

FC3
Delta 1010 (NOT LT) - No other sound card
Ardour
QJackCtl



Now, when a start Jack as a USER (normal user), I get the error: "Cannot 
connect to Jack with client", I'm assuming it's a permissions problem, 
because if I run it as root, it loads and I can connect in's to out's 
and such.

Obviously, Ardour laughed at me when I started it up as USER. When I 
started qjackctl as root and ardour as root and it was still not happy. 
Which is what I was hoping.

The docs for Jack are very vague and not easy to follow.

So my question is, how do I setup jack so a normal user can start the 
daemon and connect using my software?
