Fernando,
I've just noticed that the newer kernel (2.6.10-2.1.ll.rhfc2.ccrma)
seems to be filling up my logs with endless messages like this:

Jan 6 11:26:58 Godzilla kernel: ALSA
/usr/src/rpm/BUILD/alsa-driver-1.0.7/alsa-kernel/pci/rme9652/hdsp.c:1099:
cannot change speed mode (capture PID = -1, playback PID = 6419)
Jan 6 11:26:58 Godzilla last message repeated 3 times
Jan 6 11:26:58 Godzilla modprobe: FATAL: Error running install
command for sound_slot_1

I went back to the kernel I had been using
(2.6.8.1-1.520.2vS7.ll.rhfc2.ccrma) and don't see this.

Is this just an Alsa issue or is there possibly some configuration
that I could do to take care of this?

Cheers,
Mark
