Run memtest86. I came home from traveling for a few days. My last
Windows box booted fine. Windows said it had updates to do. I let it
do them. It said it had to reboot. I did. The machine wouldn't boot.
Windows is bad, right?

Wrong. I ran memtest 86 and my memory had gone bad. Called up Crucial
(lifetime guaranteed memory) and they're shipping me a new one for
free.

One last thing. If you look in BIOS and settings look weird then how
long has it been since you've changed the system clock battery?
