[PlanetCCRMA] installing apt in a non-internet machine

Dear All:

I´m trying to install the planet ccrma software in my linux box, which
doesn´t have internet connection.
I´ve got up to the stage of adding the red planet cdroms to apt. Next ,
when I try to synchronize with the repository,  I  run the command:
"apt-get update". This fails because it cannot connect to the
repository.

Then, my questions are:
Can the Red Plenet software be installed without internet connection?
Can I skip the step of synchronizing with the repository?

Any help will be greatly appreciated
