[PlanetCCRMA] redhat 8.0

Precisely. But if I'm going to replace the kernel, use fluxbox instead of
gnome, and let Fernando drive my updates with apt-get, then what exactly
would I get from an 8.X upgrade anyway?

I'm not trying to be factious in any way. I just don't understand (as a
user) why I'd want to jump there. As a developer, I can certainly understand
why you or others might.

Yup, thats why its .zero

There are some improvements, but I find the default window manager very
frustrating.

The kernel is irrelevent, as I replaced it with the CCRMA one anyway :)
