Used to have a CM version, perhaps 2.3, working in tandem with CLM on SBCL.

Couple of years ago I tried to get this setup again and didn't work.

For a while I gave up in favor of Grace but as you guys are pointing 
out, Slime and Emacs interaction is much better, in addition to some 
goodies, mostly from legacy CM dictionary.

Willing to give it a try using cm.asd.
