Try alsa-headers. On my machine (Gentoo):

  $ equery belongs /usr/include/sound/asound.h
[ Searching for file(s) /usr/include/sound/asound.h in *... ]
media-sound/alsa-headers-1.0.16_rc2 (/usr/include/sound/asound.h)
