Hi Robert,

I've used the STK in three iOS apps available on the App Store:

AriVibes
https://itunes.apple.com/my/app/arivibes/id497947030?mt=8

AudioSteam
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/audiosteam/id526543006?mt=8

Titanic Calling
https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/titanic-calling/id514919851?mt=8

I have used the iOS port of the STK, within the MoMu toolkit:
http://momu.stanford.edu/stk/

and for countless other little experiments in mobile sound...

At any rate, I have found the STK to be sufficiently robust for production-quality apps!
