I think I have followed the directions pretty closely. One weird thing is
this:

[digitallarry at localhost ~]$ sudo yum install planetccrma-core
Last metadata expiration check: 0:10:12 ago on Wed 04 Sep 2019 07:51:28 PM
PDT.
No match for argument: planetccrma-core
Error: Unable to find a match: planetccrma-core

Checking my repo settings:

[digitallarry at localhost ~]$ sudo yum repolist
[sudo] password for garyworsham:

I tried downloading and installing the individual RPM packages, but I get a
message for each one that it's already installed.

I am a member of the jackuser group.

This PC is based on an Athlon 740 which is only slightly better than my
Q6600. Ok it's not super high powered.

I'm just testing the Hydrogen Drum machine.

The audio suffers from periodic tempo fluctuations and glitches just
playing a 4 bar drum beat over and over. It's hard for me to believe it's
behaving as expected.

I Am running QJackCtl and I can control Hydrogen from it when Hydrogen's
Jack transport mode is on. If Jack Time Master is set on Hydrogen, and
QJackCtl is running (rolling?) then Sooperlooper in Jack/Host mode picks up
the tempo and will sync to Hydrogen after a fashion, but it is all very
glitchy.

Wondering how to confirm I really set it up right. The instructions say
a) Do a bunch of stuff
b) reboot
c) Is it running? cool

But I could skip step a and still pass the test. I THINK I did everything
right but the performance is terrible.

I'm using a Behringer UMC-404 on USB.

Any hints?

Thanks,

DL
