Thanks for the link! I did a little bit of debugging today, it would 
seem that rpm no longer defines LDFLAGS and CFLAGS when starting the 
build. Weird. I have to see if that is a change documented somewhere. 
Time to fix some spec files (at least I got one to build, tetraproc)...
