Hmmm, could be. I have been using an svn repository for a long time 
(internally) to keep track of changes. I could try to move to git.

Sounds reasonable. I have not found problems myself when building, 
patches that do not patch are easy to spot. I think I have not had a 
problem of a patch not patching because of rt, it is always because I'm 
upgrading the underlying kernel before Fedora (or without syncing with 
the latest Koji build) and then the patches are stuff already included 
in the newer kernel.

Nope, sorry. This build should not provide a kernel that replaces the 
Fedora kernel. This is an extension that is separate (just the RT 
patched kernel). Providing a non-patched kernel would be confusing.
