Yes, someone should fix this annoying Fedora 11 issue soon :-(

Again it has something to do with pulseaudio. 
What I have understood something was "fixed" that instead resulted in 
breaking something else. You can reverse this "fix" by editing 
/etc/modprobe.d/dist-oss.conf. You will read there: "To re-enable 
support, uncomment the following line". And that's what you should try. 
It worked for me.
