afaict atm.:

a) energyxt2 and renoise (closed-source, commercial)
b) jost and qtractor (open-sourced, lgpl and gpl resp.)

all have or are linux native vst(i) host implementations.

however, specially wrt. b) open-source cases, it is _you_ that must care
of the steinberg/yamaha license fine print >:)
