[PlanetCCRMA] keyboard errors and system hang

Hi PlanetCCRMA,
I had a wonderfully functional fc6 setup until last night, when I
decided I would get updated.
After installing f8 and planetccrma-core, I have a system that isn't working.
It boots without any major errors. But when I start my window manager,
fluxbox, and open a gnome-terminal, strange things happen. I get
keyboard errors like this: herre is what itt lookks like
After a few minutes, the system "locks up" and I have to do a hard reset.
I'd rather get the new setup working than revert to fc6, which I
believe is already retired.
Thanks for any advice.
