[PlanetCCRMA] qjackctl not starting

Hi list,

It seems that my sound card is not being detected.  I just updated my 
ccrma.  Sound was working before the update.  Any thoughts and/or 
suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

1. System->Administration->Soundcard Detection shows proper sound card 
as default and plays sample sound.

2. Command "speaker-test" does not produce any sound.  Error messages:
