[PlanetCCRMA] tascam US 428 not working in Fedora 5 CCRMA please help

I am a linux newbie.  I need to know how to hook this mixer into jack and 
then into ardour.  I would like all four inputs to recognize so I can record 
with 4 separate mics.  does anyone know how this is possible?      I know 
that the mixer works perfectly in cubase, but I want a linux recording setup 
as well.
