hi,

i'm trying to use the pd object fluid~ which uses libfluidsynth included
in the planet.
apparently this library has to be compiled without ladspa enabled,
otherwise there is a known bug that crashes pd (which i'm experiencing).

my questions are?
how can one know the build options of binaries included in planet rpms?

if i uninstall this rpm and custom compile the source, how do i affect
applications that were depending on the rpm-installed version?

has anyone had success running this pd object on the planet. this is what
i have in my system that is relevant.

rpm -q fluidsynth
fluidsynth-1.0.6-1.rhfc4.ccrma
rpm -q pd
pd-0.39.2-0.1.cvs.06.09.07.rhfc4.ccrma
rpm -q pd-fluid
pd-fluid-0.39.2-0.1.cvs.06.09.07.rhfc4.ccrma

thanks,

rodrigo
