[PlanetCCRMA] Ima Newbie; can't get through install of FC4, nomatter what I do! Help!

No, I haven't got through the boot.  Once anaconda starts, the system 
freezes up, and I have to try to boot and try different options.  I heard 
that this is a common problem, and there used to be a patch available, but 
when I go to the link that they recommend, there is naught but a notice 
saying that GCC was to blame, and that they've fixed that bug and released 
it.  The notice doesn't say where to get the new version, or how to get past 
install to put it in.
