[PlanetCCRMA] Rolling your own low latency kernel - need seb site to learn more.

I have just been to this site to learn about installing a low latency
kernel.

I tried to install planet ccrma a few months ago and was advised to try
ubuntu, which I did and it worked out of the box.

I understand that in order to get low latency I will need to compile my
own kernel.  I have never done this before and I tried yesterday but I
had several errors come up, too numerous to list here.

Can some one guide me on the best way forward to compiling my own low
latency kernel.

I appreciate that this is not something that can be taught over a
mailing list so perhaps if I can be pointed to a suitable web site would
be very grateful.
