further to my previous post on the subject, right pain getting gcdmaster
installed, missing deps.
libgconfmm-2.0.so.1 is needed by cdrdao-gcdmaster-1.1.9-1.i386
libglademm-2.0.so.1 is needed by cdrdao-gcdmaster-1.1.9-1.i386
libgnomecanvasmm-2.0.so.1 is needed by cdrdao-gcdmaster-1.1.9-1.i386
libgnomemm-2.0.so.1 is needed by cdrdao-gcdmaster-1.1.9-1.i386
libgnomeuimm-2.0.so.1 is needed by cdrdao-gcdmaster-1.1.9-1.i386
libgnomeuimm2 >= 2.0 is needed by cdrdao-gcdmaster-1.1.9-1.i386
had to get stuff from fedora extras site
http://www.fedoraproject.org/wiki/Extras but didnt have a
libgomeuimm2 package there but... got fc1 version from
http://dag.wieers.com/packages/libgnomeuimm2/
then... installed all extras tried to install dags mm2 and failed with
file /usr/lib/libgnomeuimm-2.0.so.1.0.0 from install of
libgnomeuimm2-2.0.0-0.rhfc1.dag conflicts with file from package
libgnomeuimm20-2.0.0-1
so removed extras libgnomeuimm20-2.0.0-1 then installed dags
libgnomeuimm2 ok
then gcdmaster rpm from cdrdao sourceforge site installed OK
well it seems to work so far, Nothing else was depending on these
libraries as they were not installed.....
why is there no gnomeuimm2 file on the extras site? or in ccrma??
Why go thru all that hassle? gcdmaster looks cool, cdtext gapless and
you can work on a recorded session as a whole.
Still would like the latest version of cdrdao and gcdmaster 1.2.0 (both
in same source archive) but that looks like an upgrade to gtk. How
difficult is that? I guess that may be another reason to go fc4? but
then again, I've done a lot of work on setting up this fc3....
