Strange. For some reason the startup of your soundcard is not happening
during the boot sequence. Try activating the alsasound script, that will
definitely start things up:
/sbin/chkconfig alsasound on
and check that it is on with:
/sbin/chkconfig --lis alsasound
On the next reboot the priorities should be fine (I hope!)
