Slight problem

For a while whenever I do an apt-get dist-upgrade it has told me that I am
running 2 versions of the alsa kernel module. SO I followed nandos
instructions to fix the fc3 apt-get problem and deleted the oldest version
of the alsa module.

But I have come to use qjacktctl and I hit a problem I cannot connet to
jack as a clinet


I get this:-
