I'm also having trouble with the firmware loader for my Echo Mona using
1.0.8. On this alsa package, which now includes the Echo drivers, I
haven't been able to get the firmware to load... (Have you already
downloaded and built the firmware from
http://xoomer.virgilio.it/g_pochini/ea.html ?)
If you use alsa-driver-1.0.7 and then patch them according to the
instructions in the driver author's website, your card should work.
It would be great if we can find out what's wrong...
I'm on FC1 Planet CCRMA.
It definitely has to do with hotplug, but I can't figure out where
things fail. Is there a hotplug log somewhere?
