[PlanetCCRMA] Professional Sound Card Recommendations

In an effort to replace a rack full of MIDI gear, I am
looking to build a digital audio system this year. 
Since I play live almost every weekend, it has to be
portable and versatile enough for both studio and
performance tasks. 

Currently, I am considering M-Audio products: the
Delta 1010, the Delta 1010LT or the Audiophile 2496.  
What are your recommendations for professional sound
cards?
