[PlanetCCRMA] Tascam US-122 audio problem

Thanks for the reply Jason, you've cleared a lot of
things up. I added the following lines to
modprobe.conf but I didn't notice any changes (was I
meant to?):

alias snd-card-1 snd-usb-usx2y
options snd-usb-usx2y index=1 nrpacks=4
options add -k snd-card-1

I'm using jack 0.99.36 with (qjackctl) is I guess I
can't use the low latency with nrpacks=1.

I'm expect the device to show up in jack as additonal
alsa input/output ports. Is this correct?
