Problem solved, thanks Fernando. BTW I am running the
2.6.10-2.1.II.rhfc3.ccrmasmp kernel. On a similarly configured laptop
the issue never happened, could this be due to it being a non-smp
kernel? (p-III 1ghz vs. p-IV 2.4ghz)
