Hi Fernando, list.
I just built a ccrma x86_64 kernel for one of our machines, boots
great on our up amd64 machine - 2.6.10-2.1.ll (the latest rdt kernel
will not build, giving me errors like the one in this link:
http://www.ussg.iu.edu/hypermail/linux/kernel/0501.3/0748.html
and I had trouble building older rdt kernels as well...)
Anyway, I'm attaching the .config files for Fernando in case they're
helpful, and the kernel.spec file (some minor changes - I had it build
sourcecode; only other change is the name of the x86_64 files it looks
for - gave it the ccrma appellation). I doubt attachments will make
it through the list, so if any of you wants to help test them, maybe
on smp machines, email me off-list. Hope this is at all helpful --
the problems with the rdt kernels seem to be kernel-code-level
problems with the desktop-preemption, so there's not much I could do
to fix anything there.
Matt
