[PlanetCCRMA] fc4 freeze on boot!

hello, i'm suddenly (last day or so) having a serious problem booting  
my fc4 machine. in the init phase it gets past the S88rtirq setting,   
through the next few (crond, xfs, anacron, atd, system message bus,  
cups and HAL) then big problem:
the realtime module does not exist on this kernel    [WARNING]
and the system freezes.
i rebooted a couple time, and once it got past the warning and  
everything was fine, but now again it's stuck...

????
