Hi Aaron,
   I recorded 26 channels from the RME as 13 stereo tracks with no
problems. Then with those 13 tracks playing back I tried to record 6
more stereo tracks for a total of 38 total audio files playing at the
same time and ran into messages from Ardour about my disk not being
able to keep up.

   However, no xruns and also no messages in dmesg from the 1394
subsystem. Seems pretty good.

   Now, if I can get this multi-disk thing working I'll probably get a
lot further.
