[PlanetCCRMA] please help, problems with gem also

Hi Again list,

I gave up on PDP for a while as it seems the CVS is down for repairs. So I
decided to have a shot with Gem...

But I am unsure which directories I should extract things to. I have been
fiddling with it all day trying to get it to compile But I get lots of
errors  when making the GemLibs (where do these go?) and Gem itself wont
compile as it thinks I don't have openGL (I am using an ATI mobility
radeon9700 with DRI working)

The versions I am trying to install are:-

gem-0.90.0.tgz  GemLibs-linux-1.tgz

I have been searching all over for a true idiots guide but it looks like i
am the only idiot who wants gem!

This is friendly list and I was wondering if anyone has already been at
this stage and knows what to do. I'm using FC3 ccrma.
