[PlanetCCRMA] cmucl trouble

I recently successfully installed the Planet once again after taking a
sojourn into Windowdom, and am glad to be back.  Things have really
improved, wow.  Many thanks again to Fernando of course.
 
I'm having trouble with the cmucl-cm suite.  I get a seg-fault trying to
start up cm.  How do I get an error message to figure this out?
 
Fedora core 1  BTW.
