I have an AMD64/FC2 but planetccrma is not on it. I had a problem with
apt in the beginning, and still do. So, I use yum.
I wish I could get apt working on it. I've also had various problems
with kde and had to take it off completely. Working on this PC is kind
of on the backburner, so I don't have a lot to tell you. Only that I was
never able to get apt working well. For instance when I apt-get update
and then start synaptic, I have 617 broken packages. Don't know why.

  <pre wrap="">Hi!

I've just installed a AMD Athlon 64 system with Fedora Core 2 x86_64
distribution and I'm considering to install PlanetCCRMA on it.

Actually I already 'boldly' ;) started to install apt
0.5.15cnc6-1.rhfc2.ccrma.i386 but there is a few dependency problems
that I have to solve first.

So I decided to ask from You is this installation possible anyway or
should I just skip even trying it. It would be nice to try it and
perhaps help with the development of FC2 packages though.

Does any of you have any experience of this kind of installation? Below
are also the dependencies that I have to meet with installing apt

libbeecrypt.so.6 is needed by apt-0.5.15cnc6-1.rhfc2.ccrma
libelf.so.1 is needed by apt-0.5.15cnc6-1.rhfc2.ccrma
libncurses.so.5 is needed by apt-0.5.15cnc6-1.rhfc2.ccrma
libreadline.so.4 is needed by apt-0.5.15cnc6-1.rhfc2.ccrma
librpm-4.3.so is needed by apt-0.5.15cnc6-1.rhfc2.ccrma
librpmdb-4.3.so is needed by apt-0.5.15cnc6-1.rhfc2.ccrma
librpmio-4.3.so is needed by apt-0.5.15cnc6-1.rhfc2.ccrma

here are the versions currently installed on my system:

rpm -q --info beecrypt
Name : beecrypt Relocations: (not relocatable)
Version : 3.1.0 Vendor: Red Hat, Inc.
Release : 3

Name : ncurses Relocations: (not relocatable)
Version : 5.4 Vendor: Red Hat, Inc.
Release : 5

Name : readline Relocations: (not relocatable)
Version : 4.3 Vendor: Red Hat, Inc.
Release : 10.1

Name : rpm Relocations: (not relocatable)
Version : 4.3.1 Vendor: Red Hat, Inc.
Release : 0.3

Best Regards:
