Hello List !
I'm having some kind of problem when trying to run various applications at the same time.
I start qjackctl to manage the jack server, then seq24 to use it as my main sequencer, then I run amSynth to make some noise, at that point everything is OK having a total of 5% of CPU load at qjackctl monitor.
Then I try to start hydrogen to make some beats, but it takes too long to load and when it's completely up, I try to return to seq24 again, but it takes too long.
When I close everything, the qjackctl applet get's stucked, can't close, can't open the system Monitor, I have to do a CTLR-ALT-F4 and make a manual Halting or kill the process to shut down my computer.
The same thing happens if I first open Hydrogen and then amsynth.
Any ideas on how to solve my issue ??? I'm using a Sony Vaio FX210 Laptop, AMD Duron 800 mhz, 128 mb. Ram, Fedora Core 1 with CCRMA Kernel.
Thanks very much in advance !
Jose Castillo
