For taking PlanetCCRMA with me around in performance situations,
especially in realtime-audio situations, im setting up a portable
computer with multi-channel audio.

Some people on this list have some very valuable experience
setting up laptops running PlanetCCRMA Linux together with PCMCIA
based audio interfaces - RME Hammerfall Cardbus.

Experiences with any other interfaces are of course also very
interesting.

Searching around on various lists, Linux-Audio, pd-list and
alsa-user/devel, reveals reports on successes and failures along
the various roads, few of them sum up where it all went.

If there are people out there who have got this combination up
and running in a stable fashion, especially with realtime
audio-software like pd, it would be very interesting to hear your
experiences.

Id be interested in hearing models & specs of everything
involved. And necessary hacks & adjustments if any.
