This is 'gnome-alsamixer-0.9.6-2.fr'.

Nothing was changed.

My mother board is ASUS P4C800-E/Deluxe and that has Intel ICH5 chipset.
[zenkato@p4c8 zenkato]$ cat /proc/asound/cards
0 [ICH5 ]: ICH - Intel ICH5
                     Intel ICH5 at 0xfebff800, irq 10

I couldn't run 'alsaconf', so I changed manually '/etc/modules.conf'.

alias char-major-116 snd
alias snd-card-0 snd-intel8x0
So, 'alsactl' does not work, I guess.
