That's fine. If the alsaconf utility selected the snd-ens1371 drivers
then those are the ones you need (plus they loaded without errors,
right?).

I assume you have tried to tweak all volume controls and mute controls
in alsamixer or gamix? I have several of those here and while they are
not the primary cards (I only use them for MIDI) I just tested one and
sound works fine.
