[PlanetCCRMA] Tascam US-122 not working

I installed the Planet CCRMA core, and I'm pretty sure that
alsa-firmware got installed along with it. Synaptic says that my
installed version of alsa-firmware is 1.0.4-1.cvs.rh90.ccrma, and I
have a few things (including the usx2yloader) in my
/usr/share/alsa/firmware folder.
