That would be great.

Linux video is still a bit hard-going, but coriander is great when you have
a camera mounted up where you can't access it by hand. Depensing on the
camera of course, but we use it to adjust focus and zoom, mess with colors
and contrast.

I think most of the dependent libraries are already there (except maybe
libdc1394?).
