Hi CCRMA - Fresh install of Fedora Core 1 on an i686, SB Live card. Using Audacity as a normal user, the program starts and records audio, but shuts down when the stop button is clicked. Using as root, the program performs fine. Is this a permissions issue? I suspect it's related to the tmp file directory. Thanks for any help Steve
