Hi,

I followed Fernando's advice, and it seemed to help, except I couldn't get
jack to start.  So I searched through the archive again and noticed on Aug
23rd 2003 there was a message about jack problems with ymfpci sound chips
(which is what I was using).  I changed the periods to three as suggested
and now hydrogen w/ jack works fine.  I just thought I'd throw this into
the list in case anyone else is having similar problems.
