Also, if you upgrade apt (or any package!), you may get new versions
of configfiles in .rpmnew files. Look through these with vimdiff or such
and see what has changed. Sometimes file locations etc move and the old
config doesn't point to the files the new package contains.

You mildly deprocedure the gun, the bullet gets firmly dereferenced,
and your foot is strongly coerced to void.
