[PlanetCCRMA] rebuilding alsa drivers

  Have you suceeded rebuilding the alsa drivers from the tarball?
  Clemens send to me a patch for my Roland SCD-70 but I tried to patch
  the latest sources from Planet whithout success...
  The patch applies OK to the sources coming from the 2003-01-14
  tarball, so I wonder if trying to compile it from scratch would
  work... Do I need to rebuild the kernel or just to have the kernel src rpm
  installed ?
  There are known problems in doing this ?
