[PlanetCCRMA] Question about USB midi driver

Hello,
I was successful at setting up my MIDISPORT 2x2 to hotplug, thanks to 
Fernando's great how to. The only problem is I only get 1 input and 1 
output, at least in PD. These ports are at midiindev 3 and midioutdev 3 
. I expected the second input and output at 4 but PD says it's not 
there. Has anyone got both in's and both outs to work. Previously it was 
working using the manual method described here
