Hello CCRMA MA/MSTs!

This message is primarily for those of you who are graduating or walking
through this quarter, but I thought everyone would be interested, so
here goes...

We would like to create some type of capstone presentation event for
you. I have preemptively grabbed the final two colloquium spots (May 31
and June 7) for this, but am open to other dates. Our questions are these:

1. What would *you* like to do for a capstone presentation/celebration?

2. If what you would like to do involves showing off your capstone to
the CCRMA community, would you present/perform/talk live and in person
or virtually? What format would your presentation/performance/talk be,
and how long?

3. Would one of the two dates already scheduled work better than the other?

4. Would an entirely other date be better?

The idea behind this is to have a celebration of your time here at
CCRMA, not to add more stress onto the end of term and graduation time.
The capstone project is required of all MA/MSTs, but as is often the
case here, the guidelines on what precisely is a capstone are quite
intentionally vague, and as such a capstone presentation event could
take on a wide variety of forms. Of course we don't have the capacity to
support individual, unique events, but if you send me your ideas I will
collect them and see if there's a central theme we can find to make a
fun, fulfilling night (maybe two!) to help celebrate your work at CCRMA.

Bring it on!

Nette
