Dear CCRMA,
I hope this email finds you well. My name is Amber Cheng, and I am a
student at UC Berkeley studying architecture and music. I am also the
Student Leader of the Acoustic Society of America San Francisco Bay Area
Regional Chapter (ASA SFBA).
I am reaching out to invite you and your fellow students to our 2024
Chapter Kick-Off Event, which would be an insightful and engaging
occasion for anyone interested in acoustics, architecture, civil
engineering, or related fields.

<https://sfbarcasa.org/membership>
Our Chapter aims to connect professionals, researchers, students, and
retirees in the acoustics field. The event will be an excellent
opportunity to learn more about ASA SFBA, network with industry
professionals, and meet people who are also interested in acoustics.
Free food and beverages will be provided during the event.
More about ASA SFBA:
ASA SFBA hosts 3-4 events annually, featuring speakers from various
acoustic fields. Our recent event covered "Psychoacoustic Measures for
Urban Air Mobility Noise in the Context of Ambient Sound," presented by
Durand R Begault from NASA Ames Human Systems Integration Division. We
have exciting plans for the upcoming months, including an Introduction
to Acoustics webinar and an Acoustic Campus Tour.
How to Join ASA SFBA:
For those interested in becoming part of our community, all the
information about joining ASA SFBA is available on our website:
https://sfbarcasa.org/ <https://sfbarcasa.org/>. If you have any

I have attached a poster for the event, and we would greatly appreciate
it if you could share this information with your students and, if
