[Grads] CCRMA 50th Anniversary Concerts | Artist Nomination

Hi All,

Following our invitation <https://forms.gle/b4AqsTzXuV5qt1xB8> to select some of the concerts that will take place during CCRMA’s 50th Anniversary year, we have seen interest from you in proposing other artists who are not on that list.

To give a clarification: the list for the community poll that we sent out last week is composed of artists who have already reached out to us this year proposing to perform at CCRMA in 2024. In addition to the ones that will be selected by your vote, we will have concerts with other artists the we have already booked, as well as CCRMA concerts with works by our faculty/staff/students/alumni.

We would now like to give you the opportunity to propose one or two artists/groups to be invited to perform at CCRMA in Winter/Spring 2024.

We will then compile the list of proposed artists and ask you to vote in a second community poll by Fri Dec 8.

While considering your nomination, please keep in mind that our standard honorarium is $600 per concert (n.b., not per person). And we cannot cover any travel or accommodation. Therefore, it is generally more feasible to book local artists, or artists who are passing through the Bay Area for other events and who have secured their own travel/accommodation.
