Greetings!

I hope you are enjoying the last days of break. Things at CCRMA are ramping up for the new school year, and I think it’s going to be a great one!

Many of you are already aware that each year CCRMA makes available a modest amount of funding to help support conference participation, and we are pleased to announce that this year is no exception. Have a look at the policy below, and let me know if you have any questions.

Very important things to note: for university-sponsored travel, whether purchased using the CCRMA travel card or with personal funds that will be reimbursed, all faculty, staff, postdoctoral scholars, and students must use Stanford Travel <https://fingate.stanford.edu/business-travel-expenses/stanford-travel-program> when booking airfare, hotels, or car rentals. The only exceptions are on-campus accommodations, conference hotels, foreign regional airlines, Airbnb, and the Palo Alto Enterprise branch. Please also note: reimbursement requests must be completed within 60 days of incurring the expense; if an expense is reimbursed beyond 60 days it will potentially become reportable to the IRS as income, which may be taxed. Matt and I are working on a new form <https://forms.gle/Ng4P7LisZzvagiKD9> that we hope will make it easier to submit expenses (travel or other types) to me in a complete, timely manner - the link is https://forms.gle/Ng4P7LisZzvagiKD9, but it isn’t quite ready to test run yet.

As always, ask questions if anything is unclear - happy to help!

Cheers,

Nette

New travel funding policy for FY23

• NEW Stanford policy: ALL travel must be booked through approved Stanford travel channels: https://fingate.stanford.edu/business-travel-expenses/stanford-travel-program <https://fingate.stanford.edu/business-travel-expenses/stanford-travel-program>
