[CM] error when running Snd when compiled without gui toolkit

Thanks! I tried reconfiguring with just --without-gui and not using
ncurses, but the error on running snd remains unchanged.
I've attached config.log.
This file contains any messages produced by compilers while
running configure, to aid debugging if configure makes a mistake.
It was created by snd configure 20.9, which was
generated by GNU Autoconf 2.69. Invocation command line was
